'Soof' U.S. Premiere at SBIFF 2015
Soof is reaching 40 and has everything she ever wanted: three children, a small catering business, a sweet husband Kasper and a lovely home. Then she starts asking herself: is this all there is?
The catering business isn’t taking off, her three children take up all her time, and she can’t count on Kasper, because he is spending all of his energy on his work. When Soof meets a handsome choreographer at a dinner, they immediately have a connection. For a moment she is noticed for who she is. He is someone who doesn’t wonder who is taking the kids to hockey, and he gives her the feeling that she is special. When their relationship unintentionally threatens to get out of hand, the question arises if Kasper is still the attractive man she once fell for. The more she tries to take hold of her life, the more it seems to derail.
